Early Intervention

At Emerge, our broad-range of ABA services include Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention or Treatment (EIBI or EIBT). EIBI consists of 20-40 hours per week of individualized treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder who begin treatment at the age of four years or younger. Treatment usually continues for 2-3 years. A number of scientific studies indicate that EIBI has the ability to produce large gains in development and reduce need for special services.

Our naturalistic and play-based approach harnesses empirically-validated treatment approaches of ABA including, but not limited to Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). Emerge BCBAs and Clinical Supervisors are highly trained and experienced providers. The Emerge Behavior Specialist team receives close ongoing individual and group supervision provided by qualified BCBAs, keeping the quality of our services exceptional in nature. Many of our Behavior Specialists are enrolled in coursework and are completing supervised fieldwork toward their BCBA, a testament to their long-term commitment to the field.

Our cross-disciplinary team and training provide a leading edge on treating the whole child.
