Dr. Huckabee is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist, Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. A nationally recognized expert in Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Trauma, she coauthored a leading text on Autism Assessment, “Assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders,” in 2016. Dr. Huckabee was recognized for her forensic and expert witness work by being named Neuropsychology Expert of the Year by Lawyer Monthly in 2017.
After moving to the U.S. from Canada, Dr. Huckabee received her bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston. Following her studies, she completed her Internship at Baylor College of Medicine with Post Doctoral Fellowships at DePelchin Children’s Center and JFK Partners at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Huckabee’s diverse clinical experiences include working with autism, trauma, borderline personality disorder, head injury, AD/HD, developmental disabilities, adoption, anxiety, and mood disorders. Additionally, Dr. Huckabee is highly trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) therapy. With compassion and competence, Dr. Huckabee provides counseling for both individuals and couples. Her research studies have involved understanding intelligence and language skills in children with autism, the role of serotonin in mood disorders, self-injurious behaviors, brain anoxia, and treatment outcome in autism. Prior to founding Emerge, she held administrative leadership positions at five clinics for autism. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Colorado Neuropsychological Society and the Association for Behavior Analysis.
Dr. Huckabee’s tenacity in blending her roles as both a clinician and a business leader ensures that Emerge’s clinical standards of practice are not compromised by business decisions. Her business leadership decisions are influenced by years of experience as a seasoned Neuropsychologist / Behavior Analyst and deep knowledge regarding what constitutes high-quality clinical care.
When not working, Dr. Huckabee enjoys running, gardening, and cooking. She is also a mother to her medically fragile, adult son with autism and her teenage daughter adopted from China.
Tasha Jamroz serves as Vice President and is a founding team member of Emerge. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University and her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. Her training in Applied Behavior Analysis stemmed from the esteemed University of North Texas. Tasha has worked in the field of treating Autism Spectrum Disorders since 2003. Her clinical experiences include working with individuals of all ages affected by autism, anxiety, mood challenges, AD/HD, and developmental disability. She has significant expertise in successfully working with individuals who have autism as well as co-morbid conditions such as anxiety, mood disorder, or medical complexity. She is also highly experienced in the assessment of behavior, including evaluations in the forensic domain. Throughout her career, Tasha has supervised and mentored many clinicians in the field of ABA and sought to develop training and supervision systems that sustain Emerge’s reputation for high-quality clinical services. She is also passionate about developing business practices that sustain ethical and effective multidisciplinary care for all. When she is not at Emerge, Tasha and her husband Ben enjoy traveling and spending time taking in Colorado’s beautiful landscape with their two sons.
Suzie Purcell, a key member of the Emerge team since 2009, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rollins College and her master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Suzie discovered her passion for working with children and families affected by autism during an internship at a center-based ABA program in Florida. Suzie is actively engaged in the Applied Behavior Analysis field through memberships in the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts and Colorado Association for Behavior Analysis. With over 12 years of experience in the field of ABA, Suzanne has worked with individuals across the life span in a variety of settings. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
Jackie Hamlin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Unlicensed Psychotherapist who serves as the Assistant Director of ABA at Emerge. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy with a concentration in Dance/Movement Therapy, from Russell Sage College, as well as a master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) from Ball State University. Since 2006, Jackie has held a variety of professional roles prior to becoming a BCBA, leading to a well-rounded career working with individuals with complex conditions, including autism. Since joining the Emerge team in 2014, she has developed a passion for the supervision and mentorship of other clinicians to guide ethical and high-quality ABA service delivery and promote scientific intrigue. Her clinical experiences include serving individuals of all ages, in a variety of settings, who have autism as well as comorbid conditions including developmental disabilities, mental health concerns, and medical complexity. Jackie is actively engaged in the Applied Behavior Analysis field through memberships in the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts and Colorado Association for Behavior Analysis, contributions as an External Reviewer to the National Clearinghouse on Autism Evidence & Practice (NCAEP) 2020 report on Evidence Based Practices (EBPs), and engagement as a Subject Matter Expert with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Apart from her career at Emerge and professional interests, Jackie spends time deepening her yoga practice and studies, exploring National Parks, and dancing to live music.
Kendall Temple is a Behavior Specialist at Emerge. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Nevada, Reno where she began providing services in the home, clinic, classroom, and research settings. Kendall has been a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) since 2016. She has experience in providing clinical services directly with clients and families in a variety of settings. She is passionate in the areas of teaching and strengthening social skills, parent training, and application of organizational behavior management. Kendall is currently completing her master’s degree in Professional Behavior Analysis.
Jillian Hamm has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2013 and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2016. Her clinical experience includes working as a teacher in a private school for children and teens with developmental disabilities in Orlando Florida as well as working in-home serving kids, teens, and adults with varying diagnoses for the past several years. Jillian enjoys snowboarding with her husband and spending time with her two dogs, Derek and Sadie.
Emily Dimperio is the Office Manager at Emerge. In addition to six years of medical administration experience, she is now approaching her fourth year in medical office management. Following 10 years of medical office experience, Emily is looking forward to continuing her education and pursuing her interest in Human Resources. When she is not at Emerge, Emily enjoys film, theater, yoga and spending time outdoors with her adorable pup, Ollie.
Dr. Dreher is a Clinical Psychologist at Emerge. After receiving her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Dr. Dreher felt called to leave her home city of Chicago and move west to be closer to nature. Before moving to Colorado, Dr. Dreher spent a year in Albuquerque completing her clinical internship at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. There, she developed expertise in assessing and treating autism in young children. Dr. Dreher then moved to Denver to complete her fellowship at the Sie Center for Down Syndrome at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Dreher is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan living with developmental disabilities, including autism, intellectual disability, and genetic disorders. She provides treatment for individuals with and without developmental disabilities living with mental health concerns such as anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. Dr. Dreher offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), although she believes in tailoring her treatment approach for each individual person. Dr. Dreher also offers behavioral parent training for caregivers of children who demonstrate aggression, self-injury, elopement, and other behavioral challenges. Outside of work, you’ll find Dr. Dreher in the mountains either rock climbing, skiing, hiking, or backpacking.
Dr. Wischkaemper is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Emerge. She began her work with children with developmental delays as an ABA therapist while obtaining her undergraduate degree. This opportunity to work directly with children and their families inspired her to pursue her doctoral training in School Psychology at The University of Southern Mississippi. She also received specialized training in Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention, autism diagnostic assessment, and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders during her clinical internship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute’s Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders in Nebraska. After returning home to Louisiana, she completed her fellowship and additional experience at Live Oak Children’s Center and the Ochsner Boh Center for Child Development. Dr. Wischkaemper has experience providing both assessment and treatment services to a variety of children and adolescents, including neuro-typical children and those with developmental delays. She aims to assist children and their families by providing thorough evaluations and using individualized, evidence-based treatment strategies to address their educational, social-emotional, and behavioral concerns. In her free time, Dr. Wischkaemper enjoys playing board games, listening to music, cooking/baking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and dog.
Amelia Eiger-McPartlin is a Behavior Specialist at Emerge. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, she moved to Denver and soon began working in the field of Behavioral Development through Cherry Creek School District. She received her Registered Behavior Technician credential in 2019 and has been providing behavioral health services with Firefly Autism. Her experience with ABA extends to clinical, home-based, and social group settings. Outside of work, Amelia enjoys riding through Denver on her bicycle and spending time with her enormous cat Finn.
Destiny Bailey is an Administrative Assistant at Emerge. Destiny is a Kentucky native with six years of administrative and customer service experience. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Colorado, baking and Ikea.
