Helena Huckabee, Ph.D., BCBA-D is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist, Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. As a nationally recognized expert in Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Trauma, she coauthored a leading text on Autism Assessment, “Assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders,” in 2016. Dr. Huckabee was recognized for her forensic contributions by being named Neuropsychology Expert of the Year by Lawyer Monthly in 2017. In addition to Colorado, Dr. Huckabee is also licensed in Nevada.
Dr. Huckabee has served as an expert witness in cases throughout the nation including 18 different states. She has both breadth and depth in her forensic experience, participating in both deposition and trial proceedings. Additionally, she has testified on multiple occasions in due process hearings involving Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) cases throughout the nation.
