Looking for some fun activities around the Denver area to do over spring break? Here are some activities you may enjoy with your child.
The Nature and Science Museum will be opening a new exhibit called Robot Revolution on March 18th, 2016. The exhibit will feature robots that have rarely been seen by the public. Kids will have the chance to control an all-terrain crawling robot or challenge a robot to a game of tic-tac-toe. The museum will also feature a new IMAX movie, Robots 3D.
The Denver Zoo will be celebrating all things South American during spring break. There will be a variety of special activities including South American dancers and talks with animal experts. They will offer $5 off admissions between 8:30am-9:30am every day over the break.
The Children’s Museum of Denver will be hosting an event for Super Scientists. Children will use science to create unique bouncy balls! The exhibit has limited space each day so make sure to sign up ahead of time. For additional details check out the website at http://www.mychildsmuseum.org/.
The Denver Museum for Miniatures, Dolls and Toys will be featuring several arts and crafts workshops during the break. Workshops include finger puppets, recycled robots, fairies and gnomes, and magical fairy/gnome homes. Reservations for the event can be made online. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is featuring Junie B. Jones, The Musical. If your child enjoys reading the Junie B.
