Children, teenagers, and adults often face a variety of social, communication, or behavioral challenges. It can prove difficult to build meaningful and satisfying relationships with others. Emerge recognizes these challenges and therefore, we seek to build a supportive environment for individuals to learn the skills of friendship or companionship.
Fostering Friendships is a group that is structured by utilizing evidenced-based practices including Applied Behavior Analysis. In these groups, we aim to teach skills that promote problem-solving, perspective taking, conflict resolution, and many more skills that are necessary when building relationships. We seek to individualize, not only by age, but also by skillset. We effectively create programming that will offer each group member the greatest benefit.
If you or your child are interested in a social skills group at Emerge, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
We recognize that caregivers require understanding and effective support that is often challenging to find. It can lonely if you are unable to share your challenges and find solutions concerning your child with other, safe adults. Emerge creates warm opportunities for caregivers to meet with a trained professional in a group setting. The goal of this group is to allow space for discussion as well as opportunities to problem-solve, as needed.
If this would be a good fit for you and/or your family, please follow up with: email@example.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
